Pole Mounted Distribution Transformers are used in the Power Grid to step down or step up voltage depending on the specific need. Pole Mounted Transformers are typically mounted on a power pole or a platform. These transformers usually range from 5 KVA up to 1500 KVA and have a primary voltage between 2400 – 34500 volts. Secondary voltages typically range between 120 – 7200 volts.
